i dont remember this hapening with V200 but why arent images/animations set as wallpapers stretched ? there is oviously some gap at both sides (left/right) even if you resize the image/animation

you could easily manipulate the pics yourself using photoshop...

(cough) since I don't have the phone yet, that's all I can do to help

- when u are seing the wallpapers in the Media box u have a gap in both sides, but if choose the image as yor wallpaper the image will fill the entire screen, the size is 128*126.

- I have download a 64k gift image and no problem, can u try a bigger one like for ex 100k just to know witch is the limit..

- Just go here and u van download some nice gift http://yqused.myetang.com/, then use jasc animatio shop and resize.

i have tried setting 128x128 images as wallpapers but i get the gaps... can you please send me some nice 128x126 wallpapers and animations at atsiamb@cytanet.com.cy? or post them here ? thanx

- For resizing and croping (select the are that u want), i use jasc paint photo Album 4, very easy to use.
- ANd for gift Jasc ANimation shop 3.

- U find a animated gift and the size is bigger for exemple, u just have to click here (see the pic) in jasc animation shop 3, and then u choose the size and then u put the animated gift that u want and then u save and upload to the phone.

yea to open the flip and see that quality on the screen is so cool... that first animation you made with that lady's anime face that turns into an eye is so cool man.. i could swear that displayed on the phone it looks better than on my computer's screen..

thats the kind of animations you should make... with crystal clear images.. because if you use any images they wont look good on the phone

Is there any slow down in performance with a 150kb wallpaper? I would think that the handset would need to keep that in memory.

100-110kb is the limit.. and it doesnt slow down anything..

Miltos it would be better if you spoke english so all the users can understand. The phone costed (including TAX nad Shippment) around 610 euros.. It doesnt bother me because new phones in Cyprus can be more expensive.. Also if you order from them you can be sure that you wont get scamed

Hey all, as you know we have two types in th E-7xx phones, the E-715 which has a flash build in and a dynamic light. And the E-700, which has an 256 color external display but no dynamic light or flash.

However, these are compatible on backgrounds, ringtones etc.
So I've got lots of ringtones, but all the backgrounds I find here, are for the S100/S105/S300/V200 etc etc.

Almost none for the E-700, so here's one, also copied from this forum and re-sized it for E-700/E715 use, have fun. This one is my favorite, very cool.

More should be very welcome...

no, its the updated i500 with a 65k colour OLED external screen,64poly,touchscree,palm os

i505 has a swivel screen
