The most you will get is 5-6 frames out of the entire GIF for the 128x128 size and "ok" coloring. The pic I have there is like 32 color, 5 frames.

not true, the vegeta background i made of him powering up with a angered face has like 30 frames in it and i got it under 30k.

Your Vegita image is not a true 128x128 animation. You have a canvas size of 128x128, but you only have assigned images to 128x68 pixels of it. For this reason, you can have more frames of animation and a much higher color pallete because there is less information that is being saved per frame. This is why you got away with 64 color.

The additional kicker is that you only have 9 Frames of animation, not 30. Check your GIF again.

I ment the original gif animation was 30 frames and I reduced it to 9 frames because the 30 just looked werid it cause even tho it goes fast on the computer when it was transfered over to my x427 it went a lot slower so I reduced the frames cause it was just silly to have 30 frames when it went so slow cause it just added file size. My homer wallpaper owns.

I am talking about the final size. The original Kiss.GIF file has 132 frames of animation, and trying to reduce that down while still looking good is hard.

Someone PMed me and told me the E700/15 will take 110k wallpapers, so here is a quick re-edit of the Kiss.gif I posted earlier with more frames and a higher palette.

and here is the slower opening to the kiss

those with a E700/15 tell me if these work. If not, Ill edit them to 100K and try again.

Because you can. Same reason why you have your Homer WP, so you have something to look at when you are about to make/answer a call. Or just to waste some time [the Chinese Dancing Baby animation is just too fun to not use as a WP]

Right Click on it and select Save Picture as.. to save to your computer. Then you can upload it to a wap site to get it on your phone. If you have EasyGPRS and a Data Cable or an IrDa port on your computer you can do it that way too.

Hi guys! Just received my E700 today and having difficulty sending .jpg via IR. The phone just kept restarting itself everytime I tried to send something! Common problem? Or I'm doing something wrong?? Have used the same method for SonyEricsson phones. Any idea y?

i'm still wondering why people buy ir connecters for their phones? It does less then the normal cable and it costs more doesn't it?

It's because the OEM Data Cable for the E700 is hard to find and or in limited quantities over in the UK. Plus the E700 OEM Cable is not the same as the one for the E715/S300/V200. It's not as common to find as it is here in the USA for the OEM Data Cable for the GSM Phones that use EasyGPRS.

As for the E700 poster chengjcn,
You need to get the Software Easy Studio and the other stuff with it from this Website to do ringtones and wallpapers. http://uk.samsungmobile.com/mobile_phone/manual.jsp

Its impossible to find it in South Africa. I've asked everyone from the provider I bought the phone from to Samsung themselves. No-one seems to know anything about the data cable for the E700 in this country.

It looks like the I'll have to order it from overseas or something.

, maybe thats cause I actually did work on mine adding a logo and cause the pic i used off the net cut the tops of the heads of some of the peeps i had to redraw them back on and u can't even notice and i'm not telling whose I did it do. And the 70's and 80's own u, kiss + hairmetal all the way baby. On topic tho I think the video is kewl I like the motely crew type videos, u know when u first saw the darkness's video u couldn't figure out if it was old and was just being played agian or if it was new. I love the way they did that, its like they are bringing back the golden area

Actually, the more I look at the censored versions, the more I like them. There is something about the grainy censor bars that are HOT!

I use Infra Red and the Samsung Easy Sturdio PIMS & File Manager. I just upload it to my images dir, then select it as a background (Menu, 4, 2, 1, 3 on E700).
