text messaging help-p800

After reading a text message on your p800 does the envelope icon stay closed?
It's kind of awkward that it would stay closed?

yeah mines does too. I never noticed as I just got mine. You do have a point though, I often get quite a few sms's daily and I usally read the important ones first and lave the rest to read later...kinda hard to know which ones you've read/not read yet.
I know there are alot of third party apps that tie into the sms side of the phone but i've never used any of them, maybe some developer already took notice and incorprated this into one of their products...not sure though.

envelope stays closed. you'll know it's a new message when the sender's name is in bold letters.
