Wirelessly posted (UPG1 UP/4.0 (compatible; Blazer 1.0))

Took me forever, but I figured it out... was actually easier on an Ipaq.
WebPro is a joke, I am connecting via Blazer, a throwback from my old Handspring VisorPhone that is much much faster.
Cannot seem to access all typical HoFo shortcuts like on my 3650 or on an Ipaq but it is quite quick...
Ask me anything, I will try to help.

I have tzone with nokia 6100 and i know that i can send sms via infrared through my phone but when i try to set up the phone link, it tells me that my phone isn't supported and that i should update my phone list. can't find that app anywhere in the palm folder. any ideas? appreciate your help!

go into your INIT string and change "GSM" to "INTERNET"

also, you should be usnig the "Standard GSM" set-up, not one of the pre-config. ones.

Are you using Tzones on your visor phone?

Can you post the settings for that? I'm assuming you are connecting through CSD?

I am connecting via a Nokia 3650 using T-ZOnes Pro.

providing you have connected your phone and T|3 via BT and can send SMS and use the dialer prior to the following....

on my T|3

prefs>connection> new> CUSTOM

connect to: phone
via: Bluetooth
Device: nameof my phone
Model: Nokia 3650

details> Init String [i]change "GSM" to "INTERNET"

OK, OK, DONE

prefs>Network
Service: T-Mo
User name: wap
password: wap
Connection: CUSTOM
Phone *99#
Press connect and it should log you on...
DONE

Your settings don't work for me...

I keep on getting "no carrier"...

WebPro is pretty quick with my T3 and T616 with ATT. No complaints here, and I was previously using Blazer on a Kyocera 7135 at 108kbps actual speed via Express Network on verizon. That previous experience didn't spoil me for the slower GPRS on a fast T3.

2 things.. T-Zones is currently spotty throughout the US and T-Mo is closing the loophole that used to allow GPRS access. I was able to connect yesterday, but not today... I'll keep you posted.
