It's new to me (Thanks Tmo for the $35 deal!)

don't the 6610 and 7210 have exactly the same features?

The internals of the two phones are the same. Just different cosmetics if I remember correct.

Can you guys/gals who own the Nokia 6610 answer some questions?

How does it rate against the 3595? I emailed Tmo and they said the only free phone I could get was the SamsungR225m and the Nokia 3595. The 6610 is $150 bucks!!!

I heard about the $35 deal, but is it still on?

QUESTIONS about the 6610:

1. How well does the speakerphone work? Can you use it in the car? Is it pretty loud?

2. How fast are the menus? Easy to navigate?

3. How does the phone feel? Solid? My current 3390 has been dropped on cement a number of times, and it still works very good. I hope my next phone can take the beating (im not going to give it a beating intentially ).

4. Does the phone come with car charger and headset? If not, what does it come with? Can you use the same headset for the radio, or is it a special set?

5. How well does the radio feature work?

6. What other phones would you recommend? Features I like on the 6610, speakerphone, size, nokia brand (ive had 3 nokias, all worked great, easy menus).

ANY comments/suggestions would be great! Thanks

It works well, but not well enough for use in the car. It is loud enough in a room, but I have tried ot use it in a car and it's not that usable.

The are fast enough, but not totally immediate (there is a very slight lag to them). Easy as any Nokia menus is to navigate (= very easy).

My mom has the 3390 and it feels a bit more solid than the 6610. There is some creakinest to the casing, but not too bad. I have dropped mine once on concrete and it works just fine.

It comes with a headset (that stupid looking boom one). No car charger though. You have to use the headset as an antenna for the FM radio, you can then turn on the speakerphone to listen to the radio, or just listen through the headset.

I don't use it much, but when I tried it out it was fine.

My fiancee has the Samsung E105 and that is a great phone too.
