As HoFo member "FP^.^" mentioned in another thread,
The Register.com has an article stating that SonyEricsson will officially announce (and launch) the P900 on Oct. 26th.
They also state that it will be in shops for the Christmas buying season.

Maybe I'm blind but I did not see where it is going to be released. If only Europe or will it be worldwide. It will suck if it they didn't release it for the US also. I was going to use x-mas as an excuse to upgrade my P800.

That’s a very nice article… very concise, link packed and it’s made Jalal our HoFo member that “(has/had) an early unit complete with packaging” a P900 hands on celebrity!

Lets hope that all of us that want a P900 by (or before) Christmas will be able to obtain one! Ho Ho Ho Fo Fo Fo

hmmmm, I wonder. If there the P900 will be released soon. should I sell my P800 now that it is still decently priced or wait until the P900 and probably lose more money on the resale value.

What is the current going price of a P800 now anyway? Been trying to sell at $475 and not much interest. Can anyone clue me in on what they are going for these days?

You can find them new for 520€ (even for grey one's!) on the net and 550€ in shops in Europe....
475$ is much to much !

The article says P800 users must be vain, which is why SE added the mirror below the camera on the P900.... do they not realize it's to take self-portraits?

Or maybe that's where the vanity comes into play...

We guys we all know that the p900 is just around the corner.. I recently talked to a rep from Sony Ericsson and he stated he is not sure on the release date but.. He just handed his report for the beta test ... So hopefully we will all haave the p900 in our hands... I have heard people saying that it is gonna sost like $2000.. people r u on crack it is gonna cost like 750 or 800... I sold my p800 for 450.00.. I still have a hbh-60 for sale if any one is interest was only used once... Trying to get a chamelelon
