let me start off by saying this isn't spam since i don't have any relation to the seller/product

anyways- being thatmy sl55 screen is easily scratched (i left original plastic over screen for now though), i 've been searching all over for a good clip/case for it.

finally i bid on this auction herehere and got the product today.

it's great. if anyone ever had a star tac- motorola's accesory clip held it the same way. basically you slide the phone in, and the top of the clip has a nub that sticks into the hole provided on the phone for a leash. pull on the tab with finger or thumb, and slide phone back out. even better- u can simply leave it in holster and can still slide phone back and forth. I was worried that the bottom of the clip would either stop the phone from closing fully or worse make a gap in the sliding mechanism. happy to report there have been no such problems.

the only problem i did have- the nub sorta needs to be broken in a little- after a few uses of going in/out, the top of the hole in the phone shows a little bit of movement- obviously the plastic of the phone isn't that strong- nothing bad, and i still consider the phone mint, just wanted to warn u guys about it, if u decide to get one.

figured i'd post my reveiew of it since i recall ppl asking where they can get clip/case from.

if mod's feel this is out of place please feel free to delete, but again, the ebay link is what i WON and not what i'm selling. i'm sellin gNOTHING and i have no affiliation/personal gains from the auction...again it's just me giving my review!

those clips do not last too long... i had a couple of them... the swivel part will wear out quick and swivel to loosely... but for .99 cent each what can you expect...

looks good. good review. I do agree though, I have had a few swivel clips in the past and they do come apart eather easily...

well, like i said, it's fine so far...and for 1dollar...i'm not complaining if it only last three months...still better than leaving it in pocket where it can get scratched!

well as long as u dont put anything else in the pocket, the phone will be fine

pockets are made for what? oh that's right to carry items such as keys, coins etc....let me just change the function so as not to scratch my screen...or. mabbe i'll spend 4bux a year...

I tell ya, I've tried the belt clip from Ebay and that thing chipped my phone by the top area, and it is very abrasive on the front bottom where it sits so my phone is pretty much all screwed up cosmetically. Luckily I only had it for a few days and ATT allowed me to return it for a new one. I'm not trying to Hate on the clip but it really isn't a good "protective" clip.

Might I make a suggestion for a GREAT holster. If you have a Best Buy nearby, go on out and check out their Universal Holster for miniature phones (made by Body Glove). Heres a pic:

The phone slides in the holster perfectly and won't fall out accidently b/c it holds it nice and snug (not too tight either). The lining inside is very soft which prevents the screen and phone from being scratched. So if you are tired of leaving your phone in your pocket, and want something that is great for your phone then you should definitely check it out! Just wanted to share this info if you are looking!

hmm..sounds good..but it looks sorta too big..i'll try to look for it at bestbuy tomorrow...

Actually the pic makes it look bigger than it's suppose to be but it is really a small holster. You would think that it was made especially for the SL56 itself! Check it out @ BB , i guarantee that you won't be disappointed, definitely the best holster for the sl56 =)

Let me know what you think about it after you checked it out.

i checked it...its very small..but forgot the price...might go in and check again tomorrow

Price is $19.99 but it's worth it though. Well there is also a $5 off Best Buy coupon somewhere in this forum or techbargains.com forum. Can't remember.
