Anyone know of a way to have the Voice Memo accessible quickly (ex:Jog Dial ). Right now, I have to open the flip, and use the stylus to get at the recording menu.

Thanks,

Frank

You can change the application that you find with your Jog when the flip is closed... change one in VoiceMemo
You only will just have to turn the wheel and click on voice memo

If you mean the flip-closed shortcuts, I have tried that.

With the flip closed, after you get at the application, you still have to press the App button, then choose New (2), then the OK button to start a recording.

I was hoping for a quicker path...

While on the subject of shortcuts, it seems that the only way I can have a shortcut appear as the default 'OK' button is to place that shortcut in the THIRD position (phone default was 'Call List').
Am I missing something ?

Thanks,

Frank

Yes.. that's right
direct clik on Ok or on the wheel allows you to start what in 3 position is....

Like i allready posted on My-Symbian... :
I just put the memo function in the shortcuts
And in 5 seconds found that you can record only using the Jogdial, like this : (or is it what you allready did found??)

Start the Memo using the jogdial and then push the wheel forward.. you get a menu where Record is an option ..
Done

Thanks,

I hadn't tried that combination...

One click would be nice, but I find this '3 click' tip very usable...

The advantage of that system is that you can record or listen to the memo.. with one button it will not be that easy to listen..

That thrick works very good with the flip on.. otherwise you have to activate the virtual flip i imagine
