Can I make a voice-note a ring tone or other sound on my SL56?

Can I take a recorded voice note (via side button on the phone) that I saved and make it a ring tone or another function's sound (i.e. powerslide opening, etc)?

Don't think so. It is a feature that the C56 has though.

The C56 is great for that... however on the SL55 there is a way around it all but involves an alternative method. Step 1 would be to make your own recording as a .wav file. Step 2 is to then convert that recording from a .wav into a .mmf using the psm player. Step 3 upload your .mmf to the fone and you're good to go.
