Hello,

I was just wondering if there was a code or a way that I could reset my Sanyo 4500 back to OEM settings. I want to basically format the phone and erase all the information I input.

There should be a "reset phone" option under one of the menus. I BELIEVE it is under the "security" menu. It's been a while since I last had that handset.

You'll probably want to reset your phonebook as well if you're planning to revert back to factory settings. There's a seperate menu for that.

I didn't realize that there was a menu after you put in the lock code.

Does anybody remember the oem lock code LOL?

the lock could should be the last 4 digits of the phone number associated with that phone. I think the default lock code is "0000". but try the last 4 digits of the phone number first

Have you your MSL you can input ##786, save phone number, then you'll see an option like "restore factory defaults", select that, it will ask for your MSL input it and select yes. WHAMO BAMO THANK YOU MAMA your phone is like new.
