I purchased a handsfree earpiece on ebay (maybe that is the problem itself). But when I make a call and i plug the earpiece in, i cannot hear anything from the earpiece. I unplug the earpiece, and the call is connected and I can hear the person on the other end and they can hear me, but when I plug in the earpiece, I get nothing, is there a setting I have to check or is the earpiece bad? I have 2 of the same earpieces and both give me the same problem.

the headset is most likely bad, OR made for a Nokia specifically. How many black rings does it have around the plug? If you see 2, the headset is bad. If you see 3, its specifically nokia. try selling it to a friend with a nokia phone

yeah, it has 3.. thanks for the info.. I will try to sell them...
