The P800 with me since 29 Feb 03 when it lunched in Singapore. the SE sevice centre here are very supportive. Softwares I am using were Mobipocket reader, Safe, JAPB, filemanager and opera. I am very happy with this phone.
Dial up network over blue tooth, iRa or with the cadle are generally no problem. With connecting to the cadle through th USB PORT the problem I encounter the phone connection to the cadle was due to bad contact and I just try to using plug and unplug between the phone and the cadel occasinonlly I use a soft cloth to wipe the contacts at the phone's contact terminals. I am not unsing backup and restore function. I kept my data on the momory stick duo and using PC connect to save my data into my PC. At home I use wireless broadband to connect to the net. I will using GPRS dial up to connect to the internet. Initially try dial up with my P800 by cadle, by IR and by blue tooth with no problem at all but I need to left my P800 on the table during the net connection it may stolen. Now I am using Itegno GPRS modem to connect to the internet and using blue tooth as a PC connect to transfer my data between my notebook and P800.
Blue tooth connect to the PC I encounter some problem, some time it will hand my P800 during Synchronising the enews from Mobipocket wed site to my P800. Even I bring my notebook which was running under XP home edition to SE service centre for help, it was work fine at the service centre, after I bring home it was some time working ok and sometime it just disconect by itself. My experience was just to reboot my notebook and the P800. Any one have the same problem?
Have a nice day.
