After using this phone for 3 years i must say this is the greatest phone ever.

Best reception, it even has better reception then the new Sony/bluetooh/blinkly lights/ LED whatever phones ou on the market.

I bought this phone 3 years ago at 350 Canadian, I wanted the best reception. (Isn't the sole purpose of a cell phone to be used as a phone?). This is my primary phone, I do not have a landline and i charge the slim main battery i got at the time and supplement with the main std battery.

I went shopping for a phone recently because the coolness factory of my phone was fading... I was disapointed in all the new phones out there.

My plan is to keep this phone until it is dead.

Hoever there are several things i don't like about thee phone.

THe antenna sucks... i normally carry the phone in my front pocket and time from time it gets caught and the tip gets ripped off... i'm on my 3rd antenna.

I wish the startac model doesn't creak when you press the phoen against your ear.

I wish it was evening thinner

I wish there is an alarm CLOCK!!!!!

Well, couldn't agree with you more.

I recently opened a new account with Verizon, got a sleek Samsung A530, great phone, nice screen but I end up returned it because battery problem (I am sure that is just that particular phone and I could just exchange for the same unit) for an LG VX6000, super cool camera phone, one of the best screen in the market, great battery life but I found myself suddenly missed my old black StarTAC, guess what I did? I sold that LG VX6000 on EBay (and made quite a bit of money) and get an used StarTAC ST7868W.

I am happy again. Maybe I just don't have luck with those cool color phones.
