Hello everyone, I was wandering if anyone can tell me how to download pictures from my phone to my laptop with usb. I have 8100 and windows xp, according to sanyo, the drivers are not compatible
......so, is there another way around it? thanx!!

Thanks tho~!

Well it depends on what phone you have. As of now, the only phone you can do this with is the Sanyo 8100. All you need is a data cable and the Futuredial SnapMedia software version 1.5 or better.
This will allow you to transfer pics directly from th ephone to the computer but only with that phone.
If you don't have an 8100, your out of luck for now.

so, i don't need to install a driver or anything like that??
btw, i have the same phone~~

you might need to install a USB driver for the phone but I got it for free at sanyo.com. Now all I personally need is the Furturedial SnapMedia 1.5 or higher, I can't find it anywhere.

icic, the only problem is.....the driver that sanyo provided for scp8100 is not compatible with windows xp.....so.....do u think it'll still work?

really?? k, cool cool~~now all i need is to find that program you're talking about!!! thank you very much!!

Good luck on the program, I'm a registered user of version 1.0 but they want you to jump through a bunch of hoops to get the upgrade CD for 1.5 or 1.9 or whatever. I just want to download it at this point and make life easy, unfortunatly, that's not easy either as the newest version I've been able to find online was 1.2

ic...so it would only work with v1.5 huh?
btw...have u tried kazaa yet?
Posted by: usafturtle
yes, v1.5 and newer have support to download images directly from the Sanyo 8100.
