Don't see how it would make any difference between oem and non-oem for scratching up the back of the phone when the strap attachs to the very top of the phone.

I've seen one but they are yellow. Not sure your would want that color.

A neckstrap is nice...I tried using one from my PocketStation and wore my SL55 around my neck...the only prob is that it keeps bouncing around and banging on things when I bend down or move around fast...can't lean over or your phone has a chance of banging against surfaces other than your shirts...took it off the neckstrap and put it back in my pocket...

I agree, I've also tried the neck strap and although the phone as light in your hands it isn't when on your neck. I have a holster case for mine that I got from Ebay and it even says Siemens on it and closes with a magnet instead of velcro which I hate.

The one plus side of the neck strap is to leave the end piece on the phone and use it to hold onto to aid in the opening of the phone when your hands are dry and slippery.

well, after 2 weeksw of use, it's getting pretty easy to get in/out unless it's just that i'm getting used to it.

the build/quality is just like my old oem motorola one...
