SL55 Question - Is it possible to ....

To All SL55 users,

I kept wondering if my SL55 can close the slide and carry on talking with my handsfree headset plugged in... I have been trying hard to make that happen. But eventually i failed.

Anyone knows how to do that ? Can SL55 still be able to carry on chatting with my slide closed after dialing & at the same time using a handsfree ?

The only way you can talk with your headset while the slide is closed is if you scroll down on your phonebook and dial from there, or dial a number via voice dial. If it is some number that is neither stored via voice or phone book, then you have to open the slide and there is no way of continuing the conversation if you close it. It's not really a big deal, but if having the phone extended about an 1.5" longer than when it is closed will cramp up your space , then I don't know the answer to your question.

yeah man, thanks for that !

but the real problem is , i can't put it into my pants pocket while extended...and it will accidentally close the slide when in my pocket...thus will end my CALL

get a holster/clip and hang it on your pants...why cant u just hold the phone or put it on a flat surface while talking with your hnadsfree?
