so i didn't charge my phone for a few days (i stay at my gf's a few days a week)- i turned off my phone for a few hours, turned it on before sleep....then after i woke up, i turned it off....i turned it back on an hour later, and the date/time were out of wack by a few years/dates etc...and the phone book was gone. the sim card has all the entries so i'm not too bothered...but i was just wondering if this was a regular thing? i remember reading that the phone book/date/time would reset if the phone was off for a more than a few hours (i could be mistaken though?)

i don't know but I have no problem turning on and off within a short time period. what firmware is your sl55? maybe you can upgrade your firmware and see if it fixed this problem??

I believe it is a known bug. It happened on my SL55 once and the phone had the latest firmware(v9).

actually, the latest firmware is v14

Well, I meant the latest firmware according to the Siemens web site. If v14 is indeed the latest one, whatever happen to v10,11,12 and 13?

actually, there is also v12 and then, v14. it doesn't necessary to be 10, 11, 12, 13..........

I am using 14 now.........
