Thank for all you guys help for last time but this is what happen went i use cb2000 and try to change the language setting.
When i click on the red buttom to clear it say the following error
"Language Variant: write MS[PRG_MOBLIE.VAR, GetMsVar Relpy)"
What does this mean???? I still cant setting it to chinese setting even through i upload L57 chinese.

Did you select the chinese language by checking the box? I don't remember if that window is suppose to pop up or not but I think its suppose to. I could be wrong though.......it's been a month since I've used cb2000. Yes its suppose to............I believe.....check all the boxes and then click on the green button one or two times..then click ok or apply whichever it is. The reason why you're not getting chinese in your phone is due to you not following my instructions. Like I said before.... after you have check all the languages in the mobile variant language box ....go to data then read handset data. You should see a window where the eeprom is listed as locked or unlocked! Make sure it is unlocked..........go to the tab that says languages and repeat the same procedure you did in mobile variant only this time you will only select the languages that are in your PACK! Voila!!! You got chinese! NEWBIE!!!

Hi,

i had the same problem last night when i upgraded the firmware. the problem is definitely because the eeprom is not unlocked. so u need the crack2d software, u'll find it somewhere here on the forum, and after running this, you come back to cb2000 and you will see unlocked at the firmware security lock. then your red/green button at the language section is gonna work... try it...

ok i decided to skip the b.s and pay a couple bucks to get my unlocking code for my phone. I enter the 16 dig. unlocking code for at&t network and it say unlock, then did the same for network and it say unlock. But when i try to use cb2000 to read the phone it still say 'lock' wtf... so i still can't change the language setting. So i thought about re-entering the unlocking code but this time when i get to the 746 menu menu, the at&t word is gone, and when i try to open the other menu like, network, sub-network, corporate, serviceprovider, etc.. nothing show up....?????
