Enable Bluetooth dialer for Palm Tungsten T

This is more of a Palm question than a Siemens question, so please bear with me. I have a Tungsten T Palm PDA with Bluetooth. It finds the S56 (Cingular) fine, we exchange passwords, trust each other, hugs, etc.

The Palm can't get the S56 to dial. I have tried the S55 driver (profile?) and the Generic GSM driver. The Generic GSM says that it may work, the S55 says the phone said it's an S56.

Here's the bad part. When I go to run the dialer app on the Tungsten it comes back and says I need to install the Mobile Connectivity Software on the Palm.

I've installed every piece of software that came with the Tungsten (2 CD's) and it is not there. I've installer the dialer, SMS, Phone Link. In Preferences Bluetooth is on, the phone shows as a trusted device. Under Preferences -> Phone if you try to test with the GSM driver it chokes, with the S55 driver it says "Test Failed, Current Settings May not be compatible, blah, blah, the phone is a SIEMENS S56" (duh).

So, has anyone gotten the Bluetooth dialer to work off a Palm Tungsten with an S56?

Thanks!

ST

Have the exact same setup: Palm TT and S56.

Did you install the PhoneLink Updater from Palm ?

Phone link Updater

After install, run the Phone Link App. It will still see the S56 as an S55, but it does work. The Dialer works, as well as the "Cingular GPRS" setup built into the updater.
