sorry this is not a response to your post but i am thinking to purchase LG 4010 cuz i love the design but i have not heard good review.... so i was wondering if you could tell me more about this phone since you are using it. thanks!

I will be getting an LG G4050 soon, and I found two websites. It looks like you might be able to download it for your G4010, but I'm not sure. It says it supports phones with WAP 2.0 enabled. They are myphonefiles.com and muwap.us(muwap will start charging subscription fees soon). There are wallpapers available at myphonefiles too. You have to register for myphonefiles.com-a free account has up to 0.5MB. You can request a text message be sent to your phone from myphonefiles with the url link to the ringtone, or just find the site. Hope this helps.

You can try 3gupload.com , I've downloaded ringtones from there as they support most Cingular GSM phones. It may look like you need to donate to use the site, but you do not need to. If you have any questions I will try to you help.

I just downloaded the ringtone from Cingular, but I don't know how to set it up. Any help would be appreciated. The phone is LG G4050

jonandbecky: What budney told you is accurate. It seems like you have to donate, but you really don't have to. The only time it has asked me to donate was when I tried to access My Locker on their website when I'm on my computer. Just send the files you wish to download to your locker. Then go to their wap site on your phone. It will only ask you for your user name. Then your locker shows up with the files you sent. And if you want to avoid being charged text messaging every time you send a file to your locker. Go to My Account that lists your current phone model and provider selection. Make sure that text messaging is not turned on. I even changed my PCS number to all zeros just to be safe.
Donkey: On your LG G4050, you need to access the push message that Cingular sent with the url address of the ringtone. You can do this by going to Internet, which I believe is Menu Option 7, then select push messages. Or you can press the right side of the circular keypad that surrounds the OK/Internet button. When you find the icon for push message, hit ok. Go to the url. I would play it first just to make sure it sounds ok. I've downloaded ringtones from websites without listening to it fist. I got a Mission Impossible that played too slow and a Sonic the Hedgehog one that didn't even play. If you select to play it, I believe you need to press the right soft key, which should say menu. Make sure it highlights details, hit ok, and the name of the file and the file size should be listed. Hit the left soft key which says save and wait for a confirmation of it being sent to your Sound Folder found in Fun and Tools, #2-My Folder. Find the ringtone and select save as ringtone. Thank you for your detail help. Not long at all. Very helpful. but unfortunately I still couldn't find it. I am going to take it to my Cingular store monday morning and have them to set it up for me. Yeah, I got mission impossible too. Thank again.
