Seems a bit too pricey, isnt it? But again, it just came out on the market.

I don't see what's so special about this phone. I mean honestly, what is the big leap going from the gu/gd 87-88 to this phone? They should have done a lot more with this phone. Just not enough improvement if you ask me. There are a lot better phones out there for that price IMO.

looks like bluetooth is a big improvement.

I'm still not sure about one feature on this phone...

does it support using it as a CSD modem using bluetooth as the PC/PDA connection medium?

I have one.

Bought it on Orange UK.

cost me...

£29

Posted by: tk_chan

kinda too expersive, isn't it?
I rather choose GX22

Posted by: machiavell1

How can £29 be too expensive?

That's only about US$50.

How much did you expect it to be?

i think he was referring to the allglobaltk site, btw, can you get me one for 50 usd ?

I'll wait for the panasonic X71 or GX30. X70 isn't that much of an improvement from the gd87 if you ask me. Active flip is being implemented into the gd87 right now, gd87 will soon have 7 megs of user memory, the pixel size of both phones are the same and the pictures are probably the same too "SMALL", bluetooth is cool...but putting it in this phone is like installing 4,000 dollar rims on a dodge neon when it should be installed on something much better. Plus I don't think I can go back to a regular 132x176 TFT LCD screen since being spoiled with the 240X320 CG Silicon "QVGA" LCD screen! I'm more likely leaning towards the Sharps GX series now unless pana can come up with something way better in the future!! Sharp has 1 & 2 mega pixel cams on the way!

Here is a picture taken with the sharp GX22. The camera uses CCD technology instead of CMOS! It's the same CCD technology sony uses for their digi cams.

Again this all boils down to preference.......you guys can go for whatever you want....I'm just stating my opinion. I think Rebel also said he would just wait for the X71 sometime ago!

X71? What additional features will it have?

Those pics on allglobaltk.com look funny. The X70 looks like a compact and the motorola A760 looks squished. LOL...someone needs to recrop their pics.
