I don't think there are any modified "flashing" antennas available for ANY of the Sanyo handsets, or at least, I have yet to see them. If you really want, you'll have to look for a flashing antenna made for another make/model and hope it will fit flush with the 4500. Although, I should warn you that flashing antennas do not work well at all with the 4500 or any CDMA handset for that matter. You will have reduced reception/signal.

Hey there, i got a lighted antanna myself, but it works poorly in a place with a good signal, but works best in analog
Also drains a lot of battery during a call and you will notice the batter drange when the light on your screen is on at the same time the antana is flashing
I live in the east, tons avalibale here.
wasted me 25 dollars thought because it fell off after 2 months

With a CDMA handset, the antenna works poorly because of the way CDMA handles the signal. When signal is strong, the phone uses less power for tx/rx, however, when the signal is weak the phone uses more power to tx/rx. Analog is not subject to this.
Now, this effects the flash rate of the antenna because the antenna is powered by the signal around the phone...not the battery. Try holding your antenna just slightly above the base of the antenna and making a call, it should light up. Battery will only drain faster because that light-up antenna is degrading the signal and forcing the phone to use more power.
It is very possible to get one of these antennas for a Sanyo phone, you are looking for an adapter originally designed for Audiovox phones. This adapter is about 1/4"-1/2" long and threaded very tightly.

I had a light up antenna for the Sanyo 4000, but it didn't work too great cause of the CDMA technology. It was originally for the analog Nokia 918/(910?) I was told. It also fit on to my old Sony phone (ClearNET). Obviously it worked great in analog mode on either phone, but blinked rarely in digital. If you don't really care how well it works and just want a light up antenna, look for one because they are out there, but none specifically for the Sanyo. Bug the retailer and ask to try different antennas into the phone. That's how I came across the antenna I bought.
