I think they're pretty much the same as the T616 except they have better screens.

My t637 doesn't seem to transfer calls to a BT headset (Moto HS850) if he call is already in progress.

I've also tried with an HS820.

EDIT: the bahavior is more like what I would expect if I am in Portable-Hands Free profile. I had been in "normal" profile (which did not have accessories as a valid option under "edit profile". Still doing further investigation. Will post anything else under the thread I referenced.

When you flash a phone, all information is lost. Make sure to back it up before it is done.

I currently have a Sony s710 Cingular phone and I am using it on the Rogers network. the phone is unlocked and I am have a hard time configuring it to access the internet and to send MMS. I received the settings from Rogers. Can anyone help me to configure this phone?

Did you have the settings sent to you by either Cingular Blue or Sony Ericsson?

Yes, I had ericsson send me the settings and they still didn't work.

Thanks for your help. Here is what happened, long story. When I went to GSM(from AT&T TDMA) I got the 616 and I am still on AT&T(cingular blue). Then I got a Moto V600. I changed my phone to the V600 on the cingular website, but didn't change any other settings. I couldn't send MMS's, they would act like they were sent, but the recipiant would never get them. So, I took a pic with my V600 on Friday night, and I wanted to send it to a friend. So I transfered it via bluetooth from my V600 to my T616. Popped in my active sim to the 616 and tried to send the MMS, but it said not data account was set up.

So I called them up to see what the deal was, and they got my IMI and set up my 616 again so it could send MMS's. Then I realized what was wrong with my V600 in the first place, so I had them set that up instead and they did. So the moto now works for me. I just didn't have all my info updated with Cingular.

i have a SE t616 and just ordered this data cable.

problem is i have downloaded mobile phone monitor and it wont detect my phone being connected. the phone doesnt even show any sign that anything is connected to it (i.e icons). what could be the problem? is it the cable? the program? or the phone?

i dont know what to do. my main goal to send themes and ringtones to my phone. if you guys could suggest any other way to do that like bluetooth and IR then could you describe how? and what i would need? thanks for any responses.

i say you throw your data cable out and buy a bluetooth dongle they are less then $10 on ebay

I know this is kind of an odd question, but a while ago, some folks here turned me on to a website that had OEM housings and stuff for the T610/616. I think it was out of canada, but I can't find it for the life of me. I need a new chassis and faceplate/backplate for my T610, and have had issues with cheap knockoff faceplates before. HELP

okay got my T616 unlocked. wanted to connect it through USB cable but got into some problems.

what i did:

1. downloaded and installed driver for USB cable
2. downloaded and installed Sony Ericsson File Manager (phone monitor included i think)
3. downloaded and installed SendFile Program.

what happened:

1. monitor did not recognize phone hooked up
2. SendFile kept saying ( no response from device/ unable to open OBEX session.)

Can anyone tell me what i am missing or doing wrong?
firmware is: R1B027

What fixes/features come with R1B027? Just called SE and they claim to have no firmware upgrades for the T616 at all.

ok i have a t610 but no longer use it because it will not charge, i replaced the batterie and does the same with my wall and car charger. any suggestions?

i cleaned the terminals a bit and it does make contact just does not ever fully charge only lasts about 3-5 min on.

am currently using my k750i witch has also started givin me problems
