Was just on the UK Expansys web site and saw that they are taking orders at GBP 499 (Excluding VAT) for delivery in 10 days. Thats about $825. Do not know if they will ship to US though.

Am going to be checking the stores in London on Friday to see if anyone has the phone.

yeah I usually like to have my products shipped when my cash is withdrawn...

Seeing how i'm on a tight budget. my g/f would have my head and she saw 900$ depleted from our account with nothing to show for it...

The P900 is already available on expansys, They just say that it takes about 10 days for them to ship, its a WOPPING $800.90

That is kind of expensive for a phone that will retail for $600-700, but that's the price you pay to get it before the masses do. Expansys is selling them for $800 with reasonable shipping costs, and that's still A LOT less than what other resellers are selling them for. I recall a few vendors trying to sell them without actual inventory for over $1200!

If you are willing to pay the price, I think you can get one shortly for about $1200-1300 shipped. At least Expansys tells you about their inventory situation, rather than taking your money first, then shipping after inventory comes in.

I have pre-ordered merchandise from Expansys and they never charged my credit card until I confirmed that I still wanted it (after email indicating "In Stock!") I'm not saying that $800 is cheap, but it is much less than other vendors at this time.

A french site about the P900 will have a stock of them beginning of next week and will sell them for about 857€

"will have them next week" is the same as Expansys promis "will have it in 10 days"... I'll believe it when it is in stock!

And if both are telling the truth wait 1 more day and get it cheaper from expansys!

The difference is that they also had the P800 2 mounth before it was out in shops... lollll

They have connection with a master-reseller. And like you know, a lot of those firms allready have them in stock, not much, but they have it. They sell them without gain of money, just for the fun to have them, that's teh difference

And BTW.. Expansys sells them for 955€, and if i can count, that's 100€ more ! lollllllllllllllllllllllllllll

nb (edit) : they are now available in shop in the UEA... and it is there that the site French bought their P800 too

It sure will be teh same way they now will get the P900
Zweden and Singapor are also all ready provided in the official SE shops with some P900 :-)

Hello everyone, I just placed an order for the P900 on the Expansys US website. I called them as well and the CSR said they have about 80 orders in for the phone at the moment and they expect their first shipment to be able to fulfill all the orders in the que at the moment. He was not sure about when they would receive their shipment, so I am hoping it will be within the 10 days that the website states. The total was $830 with overnight shipping. This is not a bad price considering some vendors are selling it for $1250. Waiting a couple of weeks is worth the $420 savings versus having it now. I just hope Expansys does fulfill their orders in a timely manner. I don't want the dreaded e-mail stating delivery is pushed back until December or January. If that's the case I will cancel my order with them. What are your thoughts or experiences with Expansys? Are they good at keeping their delivery dates or do they just take as many orders as they can get and hope to fulfill as many as possible whenever possible? Damn I can't wait to get this phone

OK... Finally gave up on the developer site as I could never get in to register inorder to place an order for the P900. So I called my good buddy at eXpansys, "Dave" and asked him to get me this phone as fast as humanly possible.

OK I promised him the soul of my first born but hey it is a P900 after all.... Just kidding honey, "just in case my wife is reading this"....

I have never had a problem with eXpansys in past concerning pre-ordering items so I expect that this time will be no different. Crossing my fingers xx......

Oh almost forgot I also ordered the CAR-100 & EGB-10 Gameboard for my z600.... It should be fun.... I think my boys will love it.

The site translates the informaiton but when you go to purchase the device the billing will not translate even after hitting the uk usa flag on the bottom right hand corner. I went ahead and entered the information on the billing it ask for and nothing happens. Don't know if this site is working or not.

I wish I was in Dubai right now! $720 is an amazing price for the phone considering it just came out. I'll have to see if one of my buddies in Dubai can hook me up with one

$800 from expansys isn't bad either, I'd gladly pay it if they can guarantee they have it. But from what I hear expansys' estimations aren't very reliable.

Many auctions on ebay are sprouting up as well, most in the 600-800 range, some seem legitimate. Any comments?

I called Expansys back to check and see what number I was in the waiting list. They have 73 back orders in the UK and 71 in the US. They have a warehouse in Illinois. The new CSR I talked to now said that they may not have the units until the end of December, and they will be updating the website to reflect this change. This sucks. Well I guess I have to find a new vendor that can actually deliver.

Today Expansys' European and US web sites are estimating 1 working day until stock is available.

The price has gone up too. In Europe it is now 1,019.58 Euros (including European taxes). Yesterday it was around 955 Euros including taxes.

I ordered mine on 22 October at the lower price. If they try to increase the price for my order, I will cancel.

I hope that's not true about the waiting list and them not getting units until the end of December! I was really depending on expansys...Anyone from the US order a P900 from expansys recently? Any news on it's availability if ordered?

I was informed that they expect to get the inventory in on Monday.... So first round of orders will be going out on Tuesday the latest. I should have both of mine by Wednesday the latest..... I hope.

My expansys.us order status shows the P900 in-stock, and my order is in the shipping stage. No tracking number yet, though.

let me just say that Expansys rocks. i just got my confirmation that it is on it's way to my house, and i will have it by weeks end!
i can't believe it, when the p800 came out it took expansys awhile to get inventory. i expected to wait to get my p900. but they shocked us all. i like many others will be selling the mineral gray p800 on ebay. i think the value of the p800 just took a major hit. now to try and pass the time....

by the way you great mods out there, time to add the P900 to the UIQ forum moniker.

Don't work that way on the preorder.... they had it at around 750 when I ordered but when I got my preorder receipt, the price and shipping was TBA (to be announced).

I could be wrong..... I'm just going by the price posted on the expansys website. Their charge hasn't hit my credit card yet but expected delivery date for my P900 is November 5.

Now to figure out how to migrate data from p800 to the p900 without screwing up the new phone. But this should be another thread.

From my experience no online reseller will give you a $850 product at an anounced price of $700, even if it was listed when you ordered.....

I have dealt with expansys and they always say that pre-release price MAY go up, and they (at least in my case) contacted me and asked if I wanted it at the higher price....

In general, there is no contract and no obligation until money has been exchanged. If you don't pay a deposit, and are not charged for canceling, then the seller is not committed to a certain price.

I called Expansys US to check on my order for the P900. They had called me asking for my 3 digit pin on the back of my cc to process my order. I called them today and asked if the item was in stock and if they would ship it today. The CSR asked where I was located, I told him California. He then told me they had some units in stock but they were in the UK. He said in order to ship to the US I would have to wait until they received more units. The wait, probably 2 to 3 weeks. I told him when I had called the day before they said they had them in stock and would ship. He checked again and said definitely 2-3 weeks. I just cancelled my order. No more Expansys for me.

Alright I was wrong ... good for me though. I got it at the price when I preordered which was $749. $15 shipping (UPS second day air)

Just got it today... gonna be busy playing with it
