8290 to 5210 (Sport phone) conversion faceplate. Look

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Look at this, i think its ugly. Its the conversion to make your 8390, 8290, or 3390 look like the 5210.

They claim that the backplate is supposed to make your 8290 or 8390 look like the motorola v66, how gay.......... The faces come in lots of colors

Yeah, the writing on the back looks very cheesy...

LOL

Time to be the Odd man out. I kinda like it. were is the site that is selling those covers?

I actually think the front is fairly cool, it's just the back cover that I don't like much. You can always use another one though, so I wouldn't mind having just the front face (if I had an 8290).

same though.

The only thing that doesn't match is just the backplate, but I'd say the front plate did a good job at imitating the 5210.

i agree, it was at e-soughtafter

Posted by: mrthaiguy

there are lots of cool faceplates and stuff there.

Posted by: mrthaiguy

there is even this PDA style faceplate that was cool but at the same time, the ugliest thig ever..

Posted by: DixieFlatline

That is kind of ugly. The back plate at least looks cheap. The wirey "Nokia" looks like it's made of frosting. A PDA type case? I'm going to have to go look at that.

Posted by: parapara

That's hidious!... And the PDA style is even worse!

Posted by: DixieFlatline

Can you post some pics of the PDA style case? It sounds interesting.
