I have activated the Field Test mode on my 3589i. After power cycling the phone, there is a new menu entry called "Net Monitor". When it is selected, it prompts for a "Group/Display", which defaults to 0000. What should be entered here to be able to view network status? Thanks for your help.

I'm still trying to dig up more complete info on the 3589i field test screens.

Here's what I know so far:

# 3101 provides info on cellular state (i.e. IDLE, active call, etc.), current channel, pilot, signal strength.

# 3106 show mode (i.e. CDMA, etc.), current channel, current system ID, network, and home/roam indicator

# 3201 and 3202 provide a convenient way to toggle between an indication of system ID and signal strength.

Maybe if I knew more about how CDMA works, the rest of the screens might make some sense.

For all screens,

hold * to toggle between display of values and labels

use scroll up/down to navigate to next/prev group.
