Anyone who knows where the imei is?

I have two phones.. one that has a destroyed eeprom (where the imei is and product code and so on)

And the other one has been dropped into coffee so its pretty much useless

My thought was to take the eeprom that stores the imei and put into the "healthy" gd87 that has a bad eeprom...

But my question is.. which one stores the imei and product code and so on?

Don't you still have the actual phone ?
Do you know where or who you bought it from ?

if you bought it from your provider you can call them and ask for your IMEI number and they would give it to you.

You can always look on the sticker that is where that part was suppose to be mounted on.

Even if you know which chip, you want to unsolder it and solder it on the other phone ? thats insane.... You gota be reallly good to do that (I am guessing it's the top right chip)

more importantly I think you can just flash it with any imei you want (take an old broken phone you have and use it's imei number

i know what the imei is.. but the information in the phone that stores the imei is corrupt so i need some type of program that can flash the correct information about imei and product code and so on back to the phone...

thats the problem. but the damn panareader doesnt work.. there is a function in that program to change/edit imei number and i just wanna restore the imei but it doesnt seem to work..

well well either way.. might as well just throw it away..

No No No Don't Throw it away.
I am sure it can be fixed.

Give me phone model, When you bought it, and all the info about the phone and i'll see what I can do.

PM me and i'll give you my email.

its meaningless..
there is no programs for those damn phones.. nokias are no problem.. with nokias u can erase the whole damn thing and still repair it.. but pana´s solution is really stupid..

can't you send it to panasonic ? they might charge you like 100$ but you get the phone working and it's worth more than 100$

naaah.. i dont want to pay anything for that damn phone..

Why I hear it's not such a bad phone and camera man !
Spend 100$ on it and sell it for 200$

you make 100$
