Thanks,

When I got it, it was painted and the Engine & Tranny were done. That's it. The interior, rims/tires, drop suspension, & front disc brakes were done with help from my friends & family. The chrome & bright work is in good shape I just polished it out as best as I could. This was my previous Toy:

I sold it to this rapper while they were filming a movie by my work. I miss this one alot, But he made me an offer I couldn't pass up and paid cash!!

I have a Black 2000 BMW 323i with 18inch Enkei wheels with Pirelli PZero Neros all the way around 225/40Zr-18's.

This car handles amazingly, its loaded with dual power and heated seats, tan leather, harmon/kardon audio, power roof. Fun as hell to drive. First car i wont really mod at all. Maybe a little sub in the trunk but tahts it other than rims and tires. Horrible car to keep clean, dark exterior light interior but i love to clean it .

I also have a 1990 celica GT red with 16" 2001 GTS rims. Not as fun as the beamer though.

Next car will definately be another beamer. I havent drivin a car i have liked so much. More than likely a 2002 or newer M3 or 330Ci within the next 1.5 yaers.

Sold the stratus, purchased a GTP.

(you can still see the stratus in the pic)

1999 Grand Prix GTP (Supercharged V6 3.8L)

+ FULLY LOADED WITH EVERY OPTION,

From Heated Seats, Projection Display, Sunroof, Bose Sound, etc...

Pics:

People never buy me anything, I work for it all, so I consider myself pretty lucky with a car like this.

On the downside, it requires premium fuel and 13mpg in the city is not something to be proud of, but I do get about 21mpg on the highway

Going to get some 18's, new pulley, and exhaust.

I didn't know they got such poo gas mileage. That's even worse than my STi... though not much. My window sticker said 18/24 but that's with my great grandmother driving.

Fun car you've got though. I drove one for about a month but it was a 4 door. I love the HUD

Wow some of those ebay wagons look like it could be from a member on an impala forum I belong to.

But some corrections in the post you quoted me from the 9c1 Police caprice has a 5.7 V8, and no performance chip thats a myth, that was my noobish mistake .

Expect to see pics of my caprice sometime next month

Posted by: Tauro72

I had really cool looking Xler CIRRUS. I dont have the pic with here now, but i could post a few later.. Why did I said that I had? Because my wife borrowed it one time to get to work, and some stupid ***** who did not even had a license driving her boyfriends F150 as she was coming out of a parking lot without paying attention, ran into my car hitting it on the right front fender and as she freaked out, she backed up to get out of the way and hit my car on the Right Rear fender.. That second hit was what did for my car and after having a car for 5 years, and 4 of those years without a car payment, I lost my car just like that..

The good thing is that I got much money then I expected. According to the BlueBook I should had received around 2700 to 3300 depending on the condition. But I received 4700 instead. And additional 7200 for my wife, after all of her mdeical and therapy was paid for.. She completely fine, she was never that bad.. But stil pisses me off how I lost my car that an unlicense driver who should had not even be in this country.. I just acted like a nice person that we are and did not reported her to authorities, we just dealt with the insurance companies..

Oh yeah,, and when I had it, I got to ride this baby as fast as 127 mph..

Now, because I promised my wife that the next car we bought was going to be hers, I got stuck with the VAN.. hehehe..

When this car goes, I will miss it, but I will buy another one.

Posted by: Katya4me

I've got a Laser Blue 2003 Mazda Protege5, which I dearly love as it is a good compromise of overall practicality and fun to drive. I can haul 8 wheels to autox and then pull them out and autox the beast. I've modded her a bit too, all the suspension, wheels, CAI, header, short shifter and I put a carputer in too. I've put 36K miles on so far in a little under 2 years and plan to drive her into the ground. But, if someone offered me a Lotus Elise, I wouldn't say no.

Posted by: Genises

I don't like the newer fords. They arnt made with any quality. The interior all look the same, and they are bulit cheap.

Posted by: zacatti

I drove the Kia Sportage Ex from 2001 - 2004. I loved the car. Fully loaded. I especially loved the 4x4 feature which came in handy living in Ottawa. I installed a keyless entry with auto starter and again, that came in handy during the winter months and the freezing rain. The car had surprisingly great space when seats were folded down. The only tiny complaint I have about it is that I wish it had a bit more horsepower. Anyhow, I moved to the US and to Miami, so the need for a 4x4 didn't make any sense and besides, my lease came up and thought I should just turn it in.

Now I drive a '99 convertible Chrysler Seabring and man, at 6 cycl and convertible, that comes in handy in good old Miami

Are you a member of clubgp.com??

If you are, you should know just as well as I do that a whipple alone isn't going to get you anywhere near 11's........and just a 50 shot will get you no-where near 10's.

Swap em

Posted by: Skylinepilot

No, no hehe. I got this car so I would have so many miles on my STi. To work and back is 70+ miles but on top of that I run errands almost everyday.

I also put a lot of raw materials in my car, greasy blocks of aluminum and steel. I am doing ok with the STi but it doesn't deserve to be used for this kind of stuff, I'll keep it fresh for the track. Its also nice to have AT when sitting in traffic, stick is killing me.

Also I'm killing the resale value on the car, I know if I would have kept my WRX for weekends only I would have been able to sell it for $4K more, thats enough for a beater and more! I am driving more and the STi is worth more, I know when it comes time for letting it go I would be at an even greater loss.

On the plus side, when I drive the STi it will feel extra special since it will only be certain days

How many miles have you put on your STi Skyline? Mine just broke 11k and I bought it in December. I did have a road trip in it from Colorado to ****ucky though..... pooor widdle sti didn't like that.

Posted by: Skylinepilot

I've had mine since February and I have 10K miles on it. Most of those miles were put on the last couple months.

What I am trying to avoid is killing the resale value and at the same time find something AT and a little more cush ride. A couple of months ago my trip to work went from 15 miles each way to about 35 miles each way and almost everyday I sit in traffic both ways. Plus I run a lot of errands for work which could be up to an extra 60 miles in a day.

The WRX lost about $4K in value from putting so many miles on it I could see the STi being an even greater loss. Now it will be for weekends only, at least it will feel a little more special not driving it everyday and I won't be wearing out good performance brakes and tires on the daily grind.

Cool. Any plans on ECUTEC or COBB? There is a lot of potential locked up in your car!

Posted by: Skylinepilot

Nope, I'm about handling with this car. Did I tell you about the brace I put on? It works really well, it seems like a typical rear strut brace but instead of connecting the top hats to the rear of the car it actually connects to the part of the chassis under the rear seats. It has actually worked really well I just need to get it to the track. Less body roll and the car feels a bit stiffer in the rear. Where the rear tires would squeal around the turn that is no longer a problem for the car. Take a look, its made by a company called the carlab who is rather new to aftermarket parts and also does consulting:

http://www.thecarlab.com/xbrace/

You can tell they are still new by how basic their website is but if there product picks up you might see more from them. Whats neat is they took an impreza chassis and tried to figure out how to make it better rather try to think of a part and try to make it work on just any car. I think I am one of only 2 real customers they have had so far.

Nice! Yea I have to get into that. AutoX is real big out here and I've already lost control pretty bad (yes you can spin an AWD ) Thanks for the link.

Wow, thats awesome. Pics?

If I had $17k to spend on a car, I could buy a 1998 Mercedes S600 (my dream car from Mercedes). There's one for sale about 16 miles away from me.

Posted by: jdhore1

Wow that's nice...Some pics will be on tomorrow

Posted by: 91RS

Hell yeah it is! You can't beat that for $17k. On top of it being a absolutely gorgeous car, you get a V12, power everything, leather, traction control, ride height control, and heated/memory seats! I think my first car that I'd be willing to get a loan on will be one of those. I never imagined they were that cheap until I looked one up on KBB.

That looks like it's in beautiful shape. I'd like to get one of those one day. Could you post a picture of the engine? If you don't mind saying, how much did you pay for her?

Posted by: Rev. Voodoo

guy across the street from me in TO owned one....I was a kid then....never looked to closely.....love to see a couple more pics.....curiosity sake!

Posted by: DMC-VIN2447

Will try to round up a few more. Just been busy with work lately.

This is a Odd-Fire, V-6, mechanical fuel injected PRV Engine. Stock... it is only 130HP... good enough for my commuter driving. What you are looking at on top is the air filter straddled over the intake manifold. Further back (actually forward, since the engine is in the back), you can see the fuel distributor (thing with all the hoses coming out of it. I plan on refitting this with new stainless steel braided lines.

When I get more pics together, I will post a link to my website for those who want to see more. For now I have "To Do" and "Work Done" logs.

Regards,
Wayne / AA9DY.com
