I drive a 1994 mazda RX-7 ... I love it. Cant beat 300 horsepower out of a 1.3 liter rotary. I had an 86 turbo II, but it was totalled by a landscape truck.

Posted by: Dan1988

Well, I was originally driving a 1995 Saturn SL1. Even though it was my dad's car (and even though I initially didn't like it because of the size), I fell in love with it. Mom and I eventually gave the car to a family friend.

Whenever I'm around and have a chance to drive, it would be Mom's Volvo - a 2001 V70 XC. A real beaut indeed!

No. It's made by Tremec. It's in the 2000 Cobra R, 03 and 04 Cobras. It's also in the Camaro/Firebird, GTO, Corvette, Viper....just different gear ratios.

Posted by: Nokarola

ohh ok, cause i keep hearing that tranny mention on F-body and b-body chevy boards.

Posted by: runningmole

Yeah, the GM crowd has been using that tranny for a long time. I really like it. I wish Ford didn't put such sissy motors in their higher number production cars, and add the 6spd....but that's just me!

Thanx! Right now whole sytem is 1800 Watts. I like Type R since they are good on BAss but also they are not to much so nothing rattles like I've seen on other cars.

the 3kgt base model is 222hp stock (R/T should be the same) & the VR4 stock was 300hp.. i think the FWD ATX has its advantages tho. it turns much sharper & the steering isn't so heavy.

my VR4 came from Pasadena.. you lucky bastards get no rust & i'm loving it

This is my 1987 GMC S-15 extended cab. It was originally purchsed in 1986 by my dad and was blue and white. I have been driving it for 13 years. In '04 I had it painted Medium Spiral Gray metallic and a metallic black. The Med. Gray metallic is a '04 'vette color.

It's got about 250,000 miles on it now... I'm going to keep it forEVER. Probably put an ls1 in it in the next few years...

I don't think I've posted pictures in this thread yet. A lot of you guys have sweet rides. I've always thought that new car are easy to keep looking nice; it's the older cars that still look nice that I notice more. All of you keep your cars (new and older) very clean..I like that.

Top to bottom:
2005 Camry - mine
1995 Camry V6 - my mom's
2005 Avalon - aunt's
1989 Legend L coupe - friend's

I drive them all so I decided to post pictures of all

Looks nice! Did you get side airbags? Just curious. IMO, the Corolla screams practical.. But with the price of gas these days - practicality is sexy.

I got the side airbags. I don't mind practical. I'm not really into cars. Just wanted something with a conservative look and reliable.

^^ the EPA 41mpg highway doesn't hurt either!

Good. I didn't buy my car new so I didn't have the option to choose, but for $700 or whatever it costs, I can't understand why everyone doesn't add side airbags to their new car..especially on a smaller car like the Corolla. Fortunately this point will be moot as Toyota (and other manufacturers) move toward side airbags being standard equipment on most/all of their cars.

You should think about getting an alarm, if you didn't buy the 'Vehicle Intrusion Protection' aka VIP system with your new Corolla. That will complete your car and hopefully keep it where you parked it . I had a Viper 1002 alarm installed on my car and it's great. I didn't know it until this past weekend but apparently the alarm shop rigged my trunk with a switch so the alarm goes off if you open it without disarming the alarm, or without using the remote if the alarm is on.

2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX

to be honest, hate it...right now at least. Suspension needs tuning, intercooler pipes always blowing off, tires rubbing. The list goes on and on. At least it looks good .

2006 Subaru WRX

Love it, and hopefully I will have some new mods on it by the end of the year. I'm also looking for an imported Skyline R34 or GTR.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't get the VIP system but will probably look into an alarm.

I drive a 07 Vauxhall (Opel) Astra 1.6T design (180PS), a boring 5dr hatch that gives much flashier metal quite a surprise sometimes.

Posted by: clauretano

1.6 with 180ps? nice wish they sold those here (and not badged as a Saturn as they will)

Nah. Old rich men love new Rolls Royces. There were a couple in the garage of my old building.

Posted by: MikeHunt2099

Unless he/they have drivers, should have gotten a Bentley.

Bentley's you drive, Rolls you get driven in.

Nice car though, I driven some older ones (late 80's-mid 90's) when I used to valet they got great interiors but handled like boats.

One guy used to tip me a $50 if I parked it right outside the window so he could look at it while he ate.
