Thanks for the heads up downloading now.

Release Notes:
The PC Suite for P900/P800 supports the P900 as well as the P800 device. Release 2.0.1 of PC Suite for P900/P800 contains several error corrections made since previous releases of the PC Suite for P800, resulting in improved software quality and reliability.
New functionality since PC Suite for P800, release 1.5.1: Support of Lotus Notes 6.0.

Backup and Restore:
Only backups taken from a P900 can be restored onto a P900.

Installing the PC Suite in a different language:
If you choose to over install with a different language than the language previously installed, there will be double shortcuts in the start menu. To avoid this please uninstall the PC suite before installing with another language.

well thanks admiralak for closing the other thread so quickly... My question still remains, is all day recurring events in outlook syncing properly now...

From what I last recall, no... and the only option was for a 3rd party application handy dates.

A quick search for 'outlook recurring' produces no useful threads except one reminding me of a thread I posted to which there were no replies

I'm not changing the way I enter my items into outlook because my p800 doesn't handle them properly, that doesn't make sense. So what's wrong with asking if the new version does it better?

I have not tried personally, but I understand from discussions over at my-symbian forums that the issue you describe is not solved even with new P900 + pc suite (with the firmware available at review time --there may be a newer one now).

I suppose when more people get their hands on the the P900 and the latest pc suite, there will be more definitive answers.

2.0.1 doesn't fix the sync problems with all-day recurring events, at least not on a P800.

No, at least I did not. The new version found the old version and replaced it.

It looks like the inability to sync recurring all-day events is due to the phone itself, not the sync software. This from the P900 manual:

"Note: You cannot repeat All Day Events"

I have a problem with my explorer clrashing every time I doble click on the P800 icon on my desktop..

any ideas??
