This conversion faceplate is for the 8290, and it makes it look like the 6510, i think it looks great, what about you?

That doesn't look too bad. It could have maybe more silver, but other than that the overall shape is cool. Are the phones about the same size? Or do you have to mod them a little bit?

the real 6510 is same width and thickness but shorter than the 8390. You should know the comparison between a 8390 and 8290.

personnaly i think all conversions are not good expect if u are going along a series line like 8290->8390 or 8290->8250

Depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you're trying to mod a phone to make it look exactly like the real thing, then you should try to start off with a phone that's equal in size to the actual phone you're trying to duplicate. But, for example, you get a 8310 style housing for your 3390 (or a 6510 style casing for a 8290, in mrthaiguy's case) just because you like the looks, there's nothing wrong with that. Just my thoughts.

i dun know...but 3390 is like a lady with big butts and 8390 is is dwarf try to turn a fat lady into a dwarf..dun think it looks good period
