S40 can WALK!!!

It's quiet funny and I want to share with you guys.

Yesterday, my gf forgot to bring her S40 back to work. She put it on the bathroom counter top. When she got off from work, she found out the phone disappeared!

In the beginning, she didn't sure she left the phone at work or at home. After we searched the house and her office for about 40 minutes (she works very close to her home anyway), we still couldn't find it.

When we were going to the police station to file a police report about losing the phone, I found the phone on the floor behind the toilet bowl.

The S40 travled across the countertop, dropped on the floor, and "walked" behind the toilet bowl (about 7 feet in distance). When I found the phone, the phone kept vibrating and couldn't be turned off by pressing the off button (very possible a bug!) I have to turn it off by removing the battery from the phone.

She had 40 miss calls, 2 calendar alerts, and a couple text messages be left on her phone yesterday.

After I carefully checked the phone, I found out that the phone case is very strong. The phone actually dropped on a hard floor from the counter top (about 2 feet high) and the case doesn't have any scratches at all!!!

I think the S40 has the strongest vibrator comparing to the other phones.

I once dropped my S40 from about 3 feet while walking. Not a scratch on the casing. The phone is remarably robust. Very nice German engineering, just like a Porsche.

1. Nokia 8290
2. Motorola L2000

The result is...

8290 keeps dancing around.

Ha... the race has some technical problem. I'm going to have the race in this way.

Let the phone ring just 1 time and see how far can it goes.
