i requested for the sim unlock from tmobile and received a sms from them.. i actually requested it for several phone/accts at the same time..

n6610 - the sms shows 7 digits, but csr said 15 digits when i called to confirm
s105 - the sms shows 5 digits, but csr said 8 digits when i called to confirm
r225m - didn't get sms, csr said 8 digits when i called to confirm

several months ago, i requested the sim unlock for two v66.. csr told me 8 digits (each, of course), but i didn't do it yet..

what's the correct number of digits? does all phone have the same number of digits for sim unlock? i asked csr to verify the numbers bc 15 digits is definitely too long to be a sim unlock.

For the nokia's I've done they've been 15 digits.
#pw+[15 digits]+7#

Yes, 15 digits for both the IMEI and the sim unlock code. Your code may be correct, if you want I'd be happy to check your unlock code, just PM me your imei and provider and I'll check the code for your 6610.

#pw+123456789098765+7# is your unlock code. Type all of it exactly as it appears, including the two #'s and everything in between. # is the # key. The p, w, and + you get by hitting the * key a few times until the correct item appears.

oooooooooooooooooooooooh I kept thinking pw as in "password" as in 12345 as in your phone's default security code..hah..man are things clearer now...thanks, will try when I get home

thanks again, Lothos for the unlock code, but when I enter the #pw+1234567890+1# code to check lock status, it says "code error"...what exactly is that meaning? does that mean that it is not really unlocked and that it *didnt* work?

That's not the code, that's an example. If the phone said something similiar to "Restriction Off" when you typed in your code, then it worked. If you have any problems pm me and I can help you out.
