contact trouble

the leds on my 8260 went out recently
i've had the problem before, guy fixed it
for me and said it was the contacts
its only the leds that lite up the LCD
and i can't quite figure out what contacts
he's talking about. the leds are solderd to the
board fine, and sometimes when i squeeze it
they will lite up. help?

The connection is loose, cut a small peice of solder (lil ball), make it at the tip of the iron, than dab it on each lead of the LED. The connection is poor but you won't be able to squeeze it, if you use your finger and wiggle it, the LED will certainly fall off.
