How do you move apps onto the Memory Stick?

OK....bear with me here guys. I did a search to try and find the answer but nothing came up. Although I had a p800 for a few days I did not like it and sold it before I really got into the Symbian stuff. I just got my p900 which I really like and I am trying to catch up and learn as much as I can about the OS. I have filled up the internal memory already and just got a 128mb card. My question is how do I move an app onto the memory stick? Is this possible once it is installed to the internal memory? Thanks and sorry for the Newbie question.

You can't view the system folder so only a third party file manager will help. Try www.my-symbian.com

You can't transfer a application to the memory stick once it is installed to internal memory. You will need to uninstall from Storage manager and reinstall the apps to your memory stick. As for putting apps on your P900, Pless, a few is okay, but if you take up your internal memory with apps and other data (photos, video, etc.) you are flirting with a majory OS lock-up.....happened quite often with the P800 from new users....I would free up my internal memory if I were you..

Mark, which apps do you install on your memory card, and internal
memory?

I install all of my apps on one of my 128mb sticks. I don't use my internal memory for anythong purposefully, after having one P800 lockup, I am not going to go through that again because of a low memory issue. Every app I have ever used with the exception of the beta camcoder app, allows you to install it to the memory stick.

I currently have HandyDay, Vrally, DateMate, Handybase, Interseller flames, Men in Black, Midcast. MobiPocketReader, Photo editor, stunt run, Opera, and Worldmate all installed on my card with numberous photos and Mp3s, .wav ringtones, etc.....and I still have 80mb left on the stick for video, photos, etc...

4 Duos work well for me, 1 for my apps and photos, video, 2 for Mp3's and 1 for movies. Great traveling combination.

thats awesome, i have to move a few over to the duo, i currently have handy day, screen capture and bugme on main memory, i've yet to load the irc, icq and msn stuff yet. Now that the crazy stuff is behind me, i;ll have time to play

Thanks for the advice Bengal. I am moving all of my apps onto the memory card. I have not seen what a crashed p900 looks like and I don't think I want to!

When you guys travel with extra Duo's do keep them in your wallet? Is there any danger to them being there? Will they crack when you sit on them? I am about to order a bunch of 128's but have not figured out a way to carry them since I do like to use any kind of cases with the 900.
