Hi, my friend just bought a GU87 and wants to remove the AT&T Wireless Logo below the external LCD on the phone?

Does anyone know how to do this, hopefully without replacing the housing?

you can upgrade your firwmare, to one with no logo...or try using cb2000 and deletin if with that....either way you need a serial cable for doing this....read on the postings theres lots of info on deleteing att logo

Tinel, he asked about the EXTERNAL Logo. Meaning, the AT&T logo on the actual housing cover. Its located underneath the LCD screen on the outside of the phone. Thats why he said below. Not being rude, just telling you cause alot of people assume without reading a little more closely. You assumed he didn't search the forums, so i wanted to point out that you should pay a little more attention. Like I said, nothing personal.

Unfortunately babyvox, I can't help you with your question though

Maybe if you were to take apart the top of the housing(the lid) and remove the internal screen, maybe you can pop out the clear cover on the outside and peel off the logo. Use a razor or something to scrape it off. I dunno... I wouldn't mess with it. But to each their own
