Hey everyone,

I've got a wierd problem with some of my ringtones that I've created myself.

I use Finale 2003 to make sheet music and a few of the songs that I've done in finale and saved as midi files play at the proper speed in finale, they also play at the proper speed on my computer (winamp, windows Media Player, Anvil Studios), but for some reason they seem to loose their designated tempo and play very fast on my phone (nextel i95cl). Has anyone else experience this problem?

All my other ringtones play at the proper speed (one's I didn't write from scratch). And these same suspect ringtones play fine in my g/f's Cingular T720.

I've tried:

Saving the file as Type 0 in Finale 2003
Saving the file as Type 1 in Finale and using midi converter to make it type 0
Saving the file as Type 1 in Finale and using anvil studios to convert it to type 0

Anyone had this problem before?

I get this once in a while. I've tried slowing the tempo down before I load it but then is sounds all slow on the phone. Someone told me you can slow the tempo down by 1/2's or 1/4's but I don't know how. Example: tempo speed is 30. Change it to 29 1/2 or 29 1/4.
