GX22 Image Size

I'm curious if anyone knows the answer to this question. I use a Sharp GX22 on T-Mobile USA. Whenever someone sends me a picture message, it gets scaled down to a small resolution (about 120 X 90 I believe). I even tried sending a 320 X 240 image from my cell to myself with the same result. I sent an email to T-Mobile support and they said it was my cell phone scaling the picture down, but I find this hard to believe because I am only receiving a ~3kB file instead of the ~12kB file that I sent. Any ideas?

Yes, I know the answer exactly. T-mobile's MMSC does not know about the GX-22 so it doesn't know what it's capabilities are, therefore it resizes down to the lowest common denominator, 120 x 90 (or whatever).

Sharp needs to give T-Mobile the GX-2x's specs so they know what resolution the phone can receive and then maybe you'll start getting bigger pictures. So if you suddenly get bigger pictures in the near future then I guess someone read this post! Let's see what happens. ;-)
