ok i bought some leds off this guy and they are size 0604 or somethin and my cell (nokia 3360) uses 1206! and some guy said that these small ones will work..but i mean they go right throught the hole where the light shines through...soo i dont know wut that guy was talkin about..any advice?? plz help

yea, the 0603 size leds will make some light but 3360 uses 1206 size leds. Using 0603 size might mess up your phone. My advice: refund the 0603's and get some leds that work well with the 3360.

You can use 0603, 0805, or 1206 LED's on a 3360. The 1206's usually aren't as bright as 0805's or 0603's.

The "stock" 3360 LED's are 3x2 SMT gull-wings. A very hard LED to find.

but how do i install the 0603 leds? cauze i have them.. and gunna send em back real sooon.. so plz tell me some way on how i can do it thanx

i got 0805s on my 3360. they were also too small but i took the REALLY thin copper wire and put it between solder points and LED and soldered the points since the wire allowed the solder to joint together better. also, after taking off the OEM LED, i taped the new one (make sure polarity is correct) on a piece of tape and let that hold it in place on the board, made work much easier. hope this helps.

hmm well i think im just gunna refund the money..cauze these leds are soo damn small..lol. i think ill try to look for some 120x or wut ever number those are leds.. lol and if they arnt bright enough do you know how to bridge them on a 3360?

i heard 0805s are brighter than 1206s so if you get them you won't need to bridge. i bridged mine and it makes very little difference, there is really no need as long as you get bright enough leds, a good place is www.lc-led.com

If you get 1206 LED's you might have to modify you main board slightly (open up the holes) for them to fit. It depends on who made the LED's and how big the lenses are.
