I Need To Know How To Make Some Midi Files Smaller?

I still dont know how to use ANVILstudio, and would like to know, but i downloaded some midi file songs, and some are way to big to put on my phone, sanyo 5000. The midi's are the whole song too, i just want some of the song, what can i do???? Im dazed and confused, so please help me, thanx! If you know how to make your own midi files from wav or mp3 files, please let me know!

this helped me out alot and it should help you make the files a heck of a lot smaller
