i am thinking of getting this fone but wat are the major cons.

and i read that u cant turn off the sound of the camera so if u want to take a picture there has to be a noise which sucks if your taking pictures in a classroom or takin a picture of a sleeping baby it would wake it up you know? is this true or not?

Alarm doesn't work when phone is turned off.
No voice dialing, no speakerphone, key pad is a little bit slow.

But other then that, couldn't really think of anything else.
It's a pretty good phone overall.

Then again, those things I mentioned above, they could be improved with firmware updates (if there is any to come) I think.

I didn't think the GX20 made a sound when taking pics...but then again I don;t have one. Just thought I read it somewhere.

It does have sound.

When I was using GD87, someone came up with no sound firmware. Hopefully, someone will come up with one for GX 2X as well.
