T616 - Question regarding stutter/pause dialing

OK,

So I get how to program pauses into a string of numbers, but the problem here is that the pauses fire faster than most Audix/voicemail/banking/etc systems offer up options/prompts.

With my other phones, the option was there to enter the numbers with your PIN/extensions/selection/etc and alllow you to hit send _when the prompt asked for them_ rather than just pausing briefly and entering them willy-nilly, thereby confusing whatever system.

Two questions - is there a way to accomplish the latter - pre-programming the numbers and deploying them at your leisure rather than the T616's pre-programmed intervals, Failing that, is there a way to alter the intervals between the pauses?

Thx,

SCd

It is possible to add more then one pause. Just add as many as you see fit.

I believe want the user wants to know is can you insert a "wait" instead of a "pause". A wait requires a hard key to be pressed before continuing, usefull if not essential for a voice mail system that does not answer your ring at a regular interval but rather by system traffic--sometimes imemdiately, sometimes 4 to 8 rings. Inserting pauses is sometimes useless--you need a "wait" and a hard key press. My LG-VX4400 does this on the Verizon network but I haven't found a way for the T616 to do this.

Anyone have any more info?

Jeff

I have the same question. How do you insert a 'wait' in phone numbers? A 'wait' would require you to press a button before it sends the next sequence of numbers (whereas a 'pause' automatically sends sequences).
