Activated TREO 600 on Verizon!!!!

I have a question for some tech savvy people!! Does anybody know how to program the TREO 600 to work on the Verizon network. I have it activated I am able to make and receive calls 
but I do not get voicemail notification and cannot get text messages. 
Please if you have any info on how to get this to work that would be GREAT!!!!!
