GX22 WAP Setting

I'm currently using Fido, and I have input the setting some of you posted earlier in this forum.

However, I'm still having problem getting on as I keep on getting
"HTTP error" message.

But i'm getting charged for it.

Can someone help me, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Here's my setting

IP: 205.151.011.011
homepage: http://wap.fido.ca
port: 9201
circuit prompt: disable
connection type: gprs

GPRS setting
APN: wap.fido.ca
username: fido
password: fido

Here are my settings and they work fine..


IP: 213.048.020.010
homepage: http://wap.fido.ca
port: 9201
circuit prompt: disable
connection type: gprs

GPRS setting
APN: internet.fido.ca
username: (leave it blank)
password: (leave it blank)

When I use your setting, I get "GPRS not available" message

i have circuit prompt enabled on my phone, dont know if it makes a difference, i'm using a GX20 on vodafone uk

just out of curiousity, do you guys have a mothly plan or prepaid services?

The technician from Fido said gprs is to used as a moden for laptop or palm, and wap is to surf internet with the phone. and they only have the wap enabled on my account, but not gprs since i'm on a prepaid service.

Do you guys know if that is the reason why i can't connect?
