anyone here notice that u can only connect your bluetooth headset to a call after it has been dialed out? it takes a long time before it gets transfered to the headset that the person on the other end keeps saying hello.
is there another way to dial out calls with the bluetooth headset already connected and not have ppl ask u why u didn't say anything when they answered the phone?
don't have an english manual btw.

which bluetooth headset r u using?

i heard panasonic will be releasing the bluetooth headset specifically for x70 soon

ur bluetooth connection may not be optimized perhaps because it's not for x70

Hi-
I have also noticed that connect problem w/ Bluetooth headsets as well. When making a call, I actually have to connect the x70 myself AFTER they have picked up, not while it's still rigning. The Panasonic Bluetooth headset won't be available for about a month yet because I called Panasonic UK sales dept. So, I bought the new Motorola one HS 810 which other than the connect problem is quite clear, better than some of the Sony/Ericsson ones I had.
Here's one for you all. Anyone having a problem transfering information w/ the Bluetooth connect from X70 to a laptop using a USD Bluetooth connection. I get the phone to pair w/ the laptop but that's about all. No info transer, although I have had transers between my Nokia N-GAGE or my SE T610 to the X70.

Hope the one released by panasonic works well, or else the bluetooth handsfree becomes useless.

give it a bit of time^^
First time for pana to try bluetooth.
I think upcoming firmware will fix this problem. Well, I hope

hey. with regards to the above posts i agree entirely. this sucks big time. BUT! I have found what appears to be a slight solution to this problem!!!! To use bluetooth well, this handset requires you to use voice dialing. I am using a jabra bt2000 bluetooth headset. not the best, but it works ok when driving. anyway - set up some voice dials on your x70, (must turn it on first or else this doesnt work!). then, if possible use the headset to voice dial. if the headset is used for voice dialing then the bluetooth atually kicks in so u can hear ringing/dial tone for a change. lol. hope it works for u.!!! mail me @ kissmyar5e@yahoo.co.uk if u found this worked and include ur bluetooth headset make! ¨thanks

i've found exactly the same problem using an x70 with a ericsson hbh-10 headset.

the work around for voice dialing is a bit of pain. hopefully panasonic will fix this *quickly* or else they're going to have a lot of annoyed people. This is making the phone almost useless for me as i use my phone with the headset most of the time.

when you dial out manually the phone doesn't connect to the headset. once the call has connected you need to hit the 'connect' button on the headset.

incoming calls automatically connect to the headset without any button pressing.

arh... u r right! how can this be!?? i tot it shd like Sony Ericsson, automatically connect the BT headset when dialling out? so disappointed...

i used to use an ericsson phone and it automatically connected to the headset on an outgoing call.

some people have mentioned in this forum that this is panasonics first attempt at bluetooth (i can't comment on that myself).

however, they just seem to have got this bit really quite wrong. you're not the only person to be supprised at this. i'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll fix this with a firmware update soon.
