Has anyone had any experience with these faceplates? :

Does the autoslide function even last that long? Or does it break easily? thnx

My cousin had one, it didn't even last a day. It was dropped on the ground though. When it hit, the springs fell out, so he had to push the button then bring down the cover manually. If you take care of it though and be really cautious, I'm sure you could give it a long lifespan. One thing you'd need to do though is cut down the spings that shoot the slide down, because it comes down with too much force and eventually the little tabs that keep the cover from flying off will break. They're nice cases, but you just really have to baby them. It's up to the owner pretty much on if they want to deal with it or not.

Thnx for the info...I think i'll order it and only use it when i go out, n not bring it to school [don't need anyone playing with the autoslide function over and over :P]

dont get it...its really cheap...i wouldnt even pay 5 dollars US for one..they are THAT BAD

I have one and it's not too bad. You do have to be careful. It's more for looks than function. I got mine for like $5 so it wasn't too bad a buy. But that slide would break in a second if you're not careful.

they are total ****. The little tabs holding the slide break off too easily. Also the silver coating arround the edge rubs off after a while. The keys are a bit too small and have chinese characters on some of them. Its not really even worth it for the $10 on ebay.

I kinda like the way it makes the phone look fat....
Its more suited for 82XX phones though....

If they weren't so cheap I would buy another one!

thnx for all your replies everyone.

However, i've ordered 2 of these, a white one, and a matted black one. i've dropped the white one twice already [had it for 2 weeks now...], but it still works perfectly... lucky i guess :P

As for my black one, it looks pretty sweet with my inverted screen n white leds. Ill try n post some pics sometime soon
