S55 Ear Speaker Volume

I have had my S55 for some months now and have found that the ear speaker volume is not loud enough in noisy environements. My previous mobile was a Nokia 8850 which was fine.

Has anyone else had a similar issue with their S55 and if so, can you please advise of a resolution. I am not sure if there is anything else internally that can be done? Any help would be appreciated.

when you are on the phone and feel that the earpiece is not loud enough, press "handsfree" and then choose "loudspeaker"

And then you'll need to learn sign language.

lol, as long as the phone isnt directly by your ear. Once you hit loudspeaker it just looks as though you are using a nextel.

I have an S56, same prob, though I dont refer to it as a prob, but hopefully future fw will fix it. I too use several nokias, and though they are extremely loud, I have found that clarity and audio quality belongs to siemens hands down. I guess every maker has their strong points.
