Hello New here

what are the main diff between the 2 ?
the sl 56 with and AT& T contract is going for free on amazon.com

I want to try this out once the number portability thing comes into effect.

SL55 = world phone, GSM 900/1800/1900
SL56 = North American phone, GSM 850/1900

And I think both AT&T and Cingular locked out a few features from their SL56 versus the SL55.

also...SL56 is a carrier phone but SL55 is not...plus SL55 is avaliable in ruby and titan, while sl56 is only avaliable in titan only~
