Okay i have a brother who has a i90 and my cable connected to his phone and did the ringtones using IiJAL. So i know the program and my driver and my cable works but its a conflict of software version.. I have the software above and he has software version .01. ?? anybody have any help they can give me on upgrading to .01.. any disclamers on what it does and any info about it messing up my ability to download ringtones/wallpapers?

Okay. Heres what I have and where I am at. I have a Nextel i95 with the software version R85.01.00 and I am attemting to use webJAL through a USB data cable to use ringtones, wallpapers ect. So I did all the fixes and everything and I go through but when it says sellect port, the port to the phone is not listed in WebJAL. So i said no problem let me just switch ports on it and go back into it. Well when i do so, It still dont show up. It will show all the active port except the active port of the data cable. If someone can please like walk me through what they think could be the problem that would be cool but the ultimate thing id like is to have someone use AIM and walk me throught it when were both online so i know im doing everything exactly the way it should be done. Any amount of help would be awesome.. Thanks.

If you have a USB cable you have to check the "use USB" box.

Scrub your bottom connector with a dry toothbrush, power cycle the phone, reboot your computer, wiggle the cable a bit... repeat.

If you're using USB, keep playing with it until you hear the computer give the audible tone indicating that it has recognized the phone has been connected. If it still gives you problems, just keep doing what I said above... it will work eventually.

Oh, and don't worry about port selection as it doesn't matter whatsoever since you're using a USB cable... just ensure that you have the USB box checked.)

Still trying to figure out your second post. you said you have a USB cable but then said you are switching ports? you don't need to mess with the port with USB, that's for the serial cable. Did you look at this post?
