if you have it set to 'ring and remind' you of a voicemail (or any other msg reminder), when a msg arrives, it plays the designated sound BUT keeps the display/buttons lit till you press a key. Kind of odd cuz it drains the battery...anyone encounter this???
i kinda like being reminded that there is a msg waiting but not at the expense of a drained battery.

how many messages do you honestly get that it's draining your battery to a level where it's an inconvenience to you ????????

I must get anywhere from 2-5 a day on my phone and I don't feel that it's really killing my battery at all to see it light up to tell me...I've had the Blade for at least a month now and i'm still much happier with it's battery life then my past 2-3 phones in comparison to when they were the same "age" and usage levels

The lights staying on does put a considerable dent in the battery life of the phone. I've found it dead after it being on for a while.
